Connect to the Core of Who You Are...

Activate your oxytocin hormone and bond with your vision, your passion, yourself. Nurture your goals and life plans as though it's a baby. Guide your ideas as though guiding a young child. Develop your understanding into the direction you want it go as though mentoring a young adult. After all growing, learning, discovering, birthing a dream is just like raising a child it requires constant attention so bond with your feelings. Get involved with who you really are. Trust in your instincts.

Connect to your core understanding because what your body is feeling has to be congruent with what you are thinking or you'll release too much cortisol in your system which can lead to fatigue, weight gain, depression, impaired cognitive performance, suppressed thyroid performance, blood sugar imbalances, decreased bone density, lowered immunity and inflammatory responses, high blood pressure, and increased abdominal fat which can cause heart attach, strokes, the development of metabolic syndrome, high levels of bad cholesterol (LDL) and low levels of good cholesterol (HDL) just to name a few common negative symptoms. Be aware of what you are feeling since you are your best asset.

Therefore,  tap into your parasympathetic pathway (oxytocin) focusing on your breath of exhale staying true to your core - your hara - your gut instincts having a clear conscious.  Learning to respond not re-act increases your intuitive ability allowing your vision to become 20/20 not just in hindsight. Then the ability to become more magnetic is automatic drawing the right people on the path to the right success accentuating the positive.

Ultimately, what you put into the atmosphere is what you'll receive thus you reap what you sow. Therefore, concentrate on befriending and nurturing stopping the adrenaline rush of constant competing releasing excess cortisol into your system which clouds your perception and decision making ability. To prevent cortisol overload learn to relax using various stress management techniques such as:

  • massage therapy
  • exercise
  • yoga
  • journaling
  • sex
  • breathing exercises focusing on the exhale
  • meditation

Oil Eating Bacteria...Yikes!

Did u know there is an oil eating bacteria created back in the 70’s and is being considered to assist with BP’s colossal catastrrophe. However, my question with Bioremediation is what happens to the bacteria if all the oil is eaten and do the bacteria grow as it eats. Also, as oil rises and settles on top of water what is happening to the fish: the salmon, the marlin, the tuna? Is the entire water column being affected? Is recovery possible?

Our Gulf of Mexico...

The Exxon Valdez oil spill occurred in Prince William Sound, Alaska, on March 24, 1989, when the Exxon Valdez, an oil tanker bound for Long Beach, California, hit Prince William Sound's Bligh Reef and spilled an estimated minimum 10.8 million US gallons of crude oil. It was considered to be one of the most devastating human-caused environmental disasters ever to occur in history. UNTIL The Deepwater Horizon drilling rig explosion of catastrophic proportion occured April 20, 2010! On the morning of April 22, 2010 (two days after the blowout accident), CNN quoted Coast Guard Petty Officer Ashley Butler as saying that "oil was leaking from the rig at the rate of about 8,000 barrels (340,000 US gallons) of crude per day." That’s an estimation of 17,340,000 of US gallons into the Gulf of Mexico from the day it began - today, 06.09.10!!! However, to place a bandaid on this horrific situation as of June 08, 2010 the numbers have been lowered to try to lessen the graphic impact of this major accident.

Inner City Blues by Marvin Gaye

Rockets, moon shots

Spend it on the have nots

Money, we make it

For we see it you take it

Oh, make you wanna holler

The way they do my life

Make me wanna holler

The way they do my life

This ain't livin', This ain't livin'

No, no baby, this ain't livin'

No, no, no

Inflation no chance

To increase finance

Bills pile up sky high

Send that boy off to die

Make me wanna holler

The way they do my life

Make me wanna holler

The way they do my life

Hang ups, let downs

Bad breaks, set backs

Natural fact is

I can't pay my taxes

Oh, make me wanna holler

And throw up both my hands

Yea, it makes me wanna holler

And throw up both my hands

Crime is increasing

Trigger happy policing

Panic is spreading

God know where we're heading

Oh, make me wanna holler

They don't understand

Mother, mother

Everybody thinks we're wrong

Who are they to judge us

Simply cause we wear our hair long

Desiderata

Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble, it’s a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantement, it is as perrenial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt th universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
